Natalia was the wife of martyr St Adrian, who lived in the 4th century, during the reign of Emperor Maximian.
Adrian saw one day some Christians who were ready to die for their faith and he was very impressed with what he saw and what he heard. He also declared to the pagans that he is adopting the Christian religion. He was instantly arrested and imprisoned.
Natalia, his wife, went to the jail to support and encourage him. She was also imprisoned and she died after several days of tortures, just a few days after her husband’s death.
