Apostle Titos, who was a Greek was a man who adopted the Christian religion following the preaching of Apostle Paul, with whom he collaborated to spread the word of the Gospels.

He followed him to Jerusalem and then went to Corinth to help the local church. Later he became the first bishop in Crete. Titos wrote the famous letter thanks to which we know about Titos and Paul’s work.

Titos died peacefully in 105 AD and became a Saint for the Orthodox Church that celebrates his memory and nameday on August 25th.
